- Continue on foot to the Gran Cono ticket office (about 20 minutes uphill)
- Visit the crater with an expert alpine-volcanology guide from Vesuvius National Park
- Lunch break in a pizzeria on the slopes of the volcano (margherita or marinara pizza and soft drink)
- Transport to Pompeii
- Skip-the-line tour of Pompeii archeological park (approximately 2 hours) with an authorized archaeological guide
- Return by minibus to the departure point
